Description
This pedal is a take on the legendary distortion circuit used by the guitarist of our favorite Floyd band during the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s. Compared to ordinary Muffs, this one has a “Hi-Cut” EQ tone knob and also possesses more emphasis on the midrange frequencies in general. Take a listen to Floyd’s Live in Venice 1989 and Live at Knebworth 1990 gigs to hear how monstrous this circuit can be!
Our version is double buffered at the input, helping to minimize noise thanks to the inherent RF rejection within the buffer circuits. The pedal’s main buffer is always on even when bypassed to ensure a strong signal path, as well as isolation from any pedals surrounding it.
